Custom waypoints not getting from PC to GPS??

My unit is a Garmin 276C v.500. I have added several Custom waypoints in the prescribed manner (I believe) and used them when creating a mapset on my PC.

They appear correct on my PC display, but when transferred to my GPS, they just don't make the trip, replaced with something more generic than normal.

Any ideas?? THANKS!!

I don't think that the 276 supports Custom POIs.
