Hi has anyone else had a touch screen failure? Mine failed after 6 months the dealer said it was a non repairable item and I would need to buy a new Nuvi! After some nogotiation and production of the original packaging I received a replacement. Moral keep the box.

Is the warranty different in the UK?
I thought they were covered for 1 year from the date of purchase? With any luck the replacement will last a lot longer.

I guess I should find and read the warranty info but I was told when I bought my Nuvi that the touch screen was a non-warranted item.
nuvi 660 touch screen
My nuvi 660 is coming up on almost 1 year and so far the touch screen has been holding up. Hopefully with just regular cleaning and care, it will last for a long time to come.
