I have a Street Pilot C330 and downloaded some Red Light Camera POIs and then transfered them to my device how do I make it display them? I did not see any category for Traffic Cameras or Red Light Cameras when I selected Where to. Are the Red Light Camera POIs compatible with my Street Pilot c330?
Thanks

camera alerts
C330 works with red light cameras and other custom POI files.
If you load the camera locations with POI Loader and leave the file name as-is ("Redlight Cameras.csv"), then POI Loader will automatically enable distance alerts for them. POI Loader looks for the "redlight" keyword in the file name.
As you approach a location that's in the database, it will display an alert message.

How do I get the traffic downloads?

Red Light Camera Alerts did not seem to work.
Ok I transfered a Red Light Camera csv file to my SP c330 and I found them under Custom POIs and it just listed the locations of them but did not lable them Red Light Cameras. I made a test trip to a place near a Red Light Camera that was listed in device but when I approached the intersection on the Camera it did not alert me.
I just discovered by reading the manual for the nuvi 300/350 that you need to use the POI loader software to configure the POI alerts so I did this after my trial run. Will I now hear the alert tones when I approach any of the Redlight Cameras? I just realized the file name was not Redlight Cameras so is thatwhy it did not work?
The manual I downloaded for the SP c330 does not seem to mention POIs but there is a Proximity Alert option under settings on mt c330 so does that mean it will alert me when I'm approaching any POIs that have alerts assigned to them?
Thanks

Thanks Dallas
I did the same thing on my
I did the same thing on my C550. I didnt realize that you had to put them in a folder called redlight. I'm new to this but I believe that when you put them in a folder with redlight it will than alert you at 400 meters. Here is a link I found that explains adding redlight and speed alrerts.

file not folder
The article listed says file name not folder. I think if te file has redlight in it then it goes into the category of red lights. But I'll try one on mine here both ways and check anyway. Thanks.
