Beautiful Midwest Fall weather. Having grown up on the beach in Southern California, it is nice to have the 4 seasons. Living on the beach was also great as a kid.

finally

found time to change the radiator of my car, it was oos for a month.

Managed to get the part from a dealer in AZ, and interestingly, 40% off list, free shipping, no tax. The no tax part was surprising. Apparently AZ businesses aren't required to collect sales tax for out of state, as if pre Wayfair.

I'm not a fan of automatic transmissions and didn't have such until 2011. So this being an auto, it had trans cooler lines to disconnect. A coworker gave me a good tip and said to get some pinch off pliers so you don't lose even more fluid.

$255 and finally back on the road after a month. Woulda likely been $1000+ at the dealer.
