I had an issue two days ago with a FourSquare listing on my DS65. When I searched to find where to report to FourSquare, I found an article on How To Geek that stated the "Foursquare is discontinuing its classic City Guides app. The company's focus seems to have shifted to prioritizing its check-in app, Swarm.
Foursquare City Guides app will be shut down on December 15, 2024, as stated by the founder, Dennis Crowley.".
Is this a valid article? Will Garmin leave the FourSqwuare on their GPS's?
Can I simply delete the FourSquare file on my GPS or will this cause other issues?
FourSquare is still offering
FourSquare is still offering products to OEMs, but they DID shut down the City Guide in favor of Swarm.
Garmin will continue offering FourSquare on their devices to the best of my knowledge, but deleting the FourSquare database on the device shouldn't cause any issues. It just won't load FourSquare data.
Be aware however that with every map update the database will return.

Looking top Correct an error in FourSquare Database
Thanks Strephon_Alkhalikoi. I was looking to find where I can report an error. If it's FourSquare's database, I can't see Garmin being the place to contact.

Got Hold Of FourSquare Support
I got hold of FourSquare Support at "customersupport@foursquare.com"
They were amazingly quick and corrected the incorrect address, in one working day. Sure wish Garmin could be that quick.
I presume, that it will have to be included in the next Garmin map update, so holding my breath that they do that.
