GPX File comment field does not display on the Garmin Tread 2

Well I've discovered another "Feature" on my newly purchased Garmin Tread 2.
The GPX file Waypoint comment fields <cmt> contents are not displayed on the Garmin Tread 2.
The GPX file Waypoint comment fields are displayed on my two Garmin handheld devices: Garmin GPSMap 67 and Garmin Montana 700.

Is this "loss of function" specific to the Garmin Tread 2?
Are any of you who have other Garmin auto GPS devices able to display the GPX file Waypoint comment fields?

Amazing "features"

Yes, those "features" are indeed amazing.

I can't really comment on your question regarding displaying the comment fields on other current nav units but I will say this...

I recently purchased Garmin's handheld GPSMAP 67 (not the "i" variant) and while it's a fantastic GPS unit, it has one obvious bug that I'm sure Garmin will never fix and that's the reason I returned it. The bug is 100% reproducible and involves the UI. I reported it to Garmin tech support where they verified it on their end. Will it ever get fixed? I have no idea but the it was enough to make me simply return the unit to Amazon as defective. Call me picky but this kind of bug should not be even making it out to the public.

As I alluded to in the other post you made regarding your Tread 2 unit, it will likely be "fixed" when new and improved replacement hardware is introduced.

You may want to have a look at the following website for more on the Tread 2 but info on it there is quite sparse since the Tread 2 is on the newer side and is not a very "mainstream" unit...not many people have them.

GPSMAP 67 UI Bug?

I also have a Garmin GPSMap 67. What is the UI bug you encountered?
I'll see If I can reproduce it on my unit.

Bug #43

Bug #43

I was able to recreated the problem on my GPSMapp 67 which is running software version 9.10 with the Menu style Big Grid. The POI category icons do not match the descriptions as the bug states.

I tried to recreate the problem on my Garmin Montana 700. It only offers 2 menu styles: Grid and List. Both menu styles display the POI category Icons and descriptions fine.
