new

week begins

We got new news last week--taking PTO, is taking PTO.

At the same time, it does not excuse us from the in-office requirement.

Can't make this stuff up. It excuses us like .6 of a day.

So we were cautioned, you can take PTO, and not be able to meet the 80% in-office requirement if you simply consider 80% as 4/5 days. Is this nuts or what? I've been salaried for almost 3 decades and have to worry about this stuff. Working 2 AM to 5 PM a couple Fridays ago doesn't count either. It was from home lol

p.s. the powers that be don't care if an employee comes to the building, swipes their badge, and leaves. That counts. How in 2024, did our society get this way is hard to imagine...

Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving not that far off, I would certainly like some fresh maps. There are new roads that I have been using on my 1000 mile trip to see family.
