Request: Changelog for map and software updates
A new day with a new question:
I found this beautiful and well written list by jgermann "Release Date History for Garmin Maps" (which is waaay better than what the Garmin webpage offers, thank you): http://www.poi-factory.com/node/42417
and wanted to know if it is also possible to add the changelogs for the map updates? Or are they "not meant aka hidden from the public" on purpose? If so, than not adding it here is fully understandable. Or maybe there are not "interesting enough" 
.
Additionally: It would also be very nice if there would be a "Release Date and Changelog History For Garmin Software" page where we would list the Changelogs and dates of the software updates (since it is important to see what have changed, especially if you are unsure whether to update or not).
On the Garmin official website I can find for example for the "GPSMAP 76" this but it's missing the dates: https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=154
And I could not find something similar for other devices/modells on my quick lookup. I was actually looking for the software changelog for my "DriveSmart 66" but could not find anything. During my search I only found the previous link for the "GPSMAP 76" (which is besides the missing dates, well documented btw).

The Garmin Express change logs are typically posted over on the Garmin Forum:

Listing the map changes (from Garmin's map provider) may end up being a very long list of changes and additions.

I was not asking for the "Express" or "Basecamp" (or PC software) changelogs (but thank you for linking them). And like all official Garmin Website things it does not show the dates unfortunately.
What I was asking for is the changelogs for the software of the devices itselfs (e.g. my device DS 66) that gets installed via Garmin Express (or directly via Wifi update). Is there any possibility?
Oh and is there a way to see on which software version my device currently is? I could not find it (neither on my device nor on Garmin Express).
I understand that at least the map changes will not be listed (because it will be exhaustive).

Garm0, your DS 66 can probably access a lot of info, and if like my nuvi 3597, just tap Settings, Device, About.
There are also Garmin secret screens that can be accessed and hopefully someone can offer the way to access them.
Finally, the GMapTool site can offer links to Garmin's changelogs. Go to https://www.gmaptool.eu/en/content/recent-updates to access these.

I know about the "Settings->Device->About"-Section. These show a lot (maybe all) information that I loose the patience and overview very fast. I just want a simple e.g. "You're Software is on Version 6.70 and your map version is 2025.10" on the update page or Garmin Express programm. For now it only says that I'm up2date or need to update but not from which version to which version and what are the changes is hidden (or at least I cannot find them). I know that I can find the "2025.10" in the "Settings->Device->About"-Section but it shows much more than that e.g. every little map unit.
Didn't new about "GMapTool", thanks. But unfortunately there not even one single entry about my DS 66 (that's very strange). And the last entry in tab "drive"-tab is from May 12, 2022 about the DriveAssist 51 (so that site is not up2date). I just tried the links of other devices in there and these lead to the official Garmin Webpage sites (Which do not contain the dates).
Garmin Device Software Change Logs.
Sadly, Garmin has stopped publishing the device change logs online for newer models. This includes most models that have the capability for wifi updates.

But unfortunately there not even one single entry about my DS 66 (might be because of the reason you mentioned). But why did Garmin stopped for these devices? Does someone has a clue (or even better: source)? Do you think we can convince Garmin to add the change history for newer devices also?
