lost satellite reception

Depends on your model... I have the NUVI 350..

Try a reset:
According to Garmin (NUVI):
1. Unplug power and USB cable to remove external power.
2. Raise the antenna.
3. Press the reset button for about 3 seconds (under the antenna space)
4. Connect GPS to a power source using the power cable.
it should automatically turn back on and operate.

To rest the clock----might want to try this first:
Go the settings menu, press locale, change all, then go through the settings... this will include the time zone... might just coax the unit to aquire sats a little faster.

According to the c330 Owner's Manual, page 28.
"1.Place your thumbnail in the groove located under the face plate.
2.Gently pull off the face plate.
3.Press the reset button (according to the picture it is on the right side of the screen about half way)
4.Turn the unit back on; it will operate normally."

Turn on the GPSr while pressing on the lower right hand corner of the screen.

Trying a trick to fix an unclosed HTML tag...and it no-workie. Will have to notify JM or Miss Poi.
