Nuvi 660 Impact Resistant ???

Well, old Nuvi held up! I handle it with kid gloves all the time, but tonight it slipped out of its leather case, and fell from about 3½ to 4 feet high, and landed on the front corner beside the Off/On Switch onto the concrete drive. All I could say was oh ***t. I just knew I had bought the farm, but the Garmin guardian angel must have been with me, or it. I turned it on, and it works perfect. I sure am glad it didn't hit on the screen. The small area on the corner must have taken quite a shock.

Actually, contray to popular

Actually, contray to popular belief, most electronics go through a "drop" test and aren't as fragile as one might think.

Now that doesn't mean mistreat it

Mine certainly went through

Mine certainly went through the drop test, but don't wanna do it again. I'm well aware of the "drop test, and electronic equipment being put on the shaker table". The Apollo and Gemini Program taught me a lot about those types of test. Ahhhh, the good old days.
