Apparently Garmin has discontinued POI Loader

When I tried to download the current POI Loader from http://www8.garmin.com/products/poiloader/ I got this: "Sorry, we can't find that page." I then tried searching the Garmin website for POI Loader, but there were no results.

I did find a "POI Loader" page at https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?productID=9558&tab=softwar.... But when I clicked the "Software" link, I got this message: "Software Information Currently Unavailable. This information is either coming soon, not applicable, or no longer available for this product." And the "Manuals" and "Videos" links say that neither is available.

So... Has Garmin discontinued POI Loader? I was about to buy a new Garmin to replace my 16-year-old nüvi 250W. But if I can't load custom POIs to the current Garmin devices, I'll stick with my old and mostly reliable nüvi.

I can't imagine any possible reason for Garmin to discontinue the POI loader. They probably screwed up and put it that new location. Gotta luv 'em, eh?

No problems finding it on Garmins website

Poi Loader

Just downloaded and installed POI Loader on a new laptop running Windows 11. As DOBS108 refreshed my memory, don't forget to put SOX.EXE in the same folder as the POI Loader executable file. I forgot and it would not load the WAV files without it. It works perfectly now.
