Speed Alerts for c330

Hey anyone!!! Is it true you can program a Garmin unit to notify you when you are getting close to a speed trap.. or reduced speed limits, such as here in Birmingham, the speed limit thru downtown on freeway is 50mph... can I program my c330 to alert when reaching this area?
Just wondering... not that I really need it, but it would be fun to have it give an alert, just for kicks.

Create POIs with speed alerts

Under the FAQ's is information on the .csv file format for POIs. There is a section that explains speed and proximity alerts. Go to: http://www.poi-factory.com/garmin-csv-file-format

We don't have any cameras

We don't have any cameras here in Richmond, but went to DC this weekend and found tons of them, thank god I had a gpsr, or I would certainly have a ticket in the mail by monday.

Add voice prompts for the Garmin 330

I know you can add POI's to the GARMIN and have it alert you with a ding ding, my question is can I place a MP3 or any other wave file in my c330 to prompt when I come to a red light camera or a speed trap to alert me and say speed trap / red light camera?

yes you can, however, I am getting an error when I am trying to upload it, but it still works.

Just add a mp3 file by the same name in the folder wih the speed/redlight camera locations.

I don't believe the c330 has mp3 capability. I know my c530 doesn't. Check the specs regarding mp3 for your model to see if it has an mp3 player.

Yeah, you are right, you have to have the C550 or above (or a nuvi) to have mp3.
