Nicole (hurricane) impact

Just to let members know, Nicole knocked out power to our home for almost the last 2 days. That's why I haven't been able to respond to comments. Thankfully, no home damage. Lots of debris in the yard. The last 2 have passed over us and I don't want this to become a habit.

All Good Here

At my home in metro Atlanta, GA, I've received about two inches of rain that is much appreciated as we were in a rain deficit. It rained much of the night and morning, a slow and gentle rain with no wind of note.

Glad to hear that you didn’t have any property damage

It’s welcome news that you didn’t receive any damage to your home. I have never been through a hurricane and I can’t imagine that it would be a pleasant experience. I was a police officer in 1974 when we had a tornado that tore through the county where I live. We had a swath of damage only a mile wide. I can’t imagine the damage that a hurricane would do. I’m glad that you and your family are okay.

Nicole.

My SIL almost landed a job with Next Era just before Ian hit. Sucessfully went thru about 3 interviews, but the final one didn't go so well and he didn't get the job offer. It was very disappointing at the time, but now after Ian and Nicole we are counting blessings.
