Rest In Peace, Jerry Lee Lewis. One of Rock-and-Roll and Country music legends has left the building. God bless.

Goodness, gracious!

It was mistakenly reported yesterday by TMZ that Jerry Lee Lewis had died but it's wasn't true. Maybe he died and maybe he didn't. It seems there are questions about the validity of his death.

Seems like

All the great ones are gone or going.
I always remember hearing walking through Leonard's basement hearing Jerry Lee record playing over the loud speaker.
The 50 and 60's were great growing up.

Long ago...

Long ago when I was very young I remember thinking Great Balls of Fire was a great song. Today, I still think the same thing. The man had a weird and varied history but he had a HUGE impact on music.

My favorite decade of music is 1955-1965, the golden oldies decade. Long live rock-n-roll.

Mean Old Man Music Album

I've enjoyed Jerry Lee Lewis' music since the late 1950s but I only have a single Jerry Lee Lewis mp3 album. As I've aged my music tastes have changed and Mean Old Man album (2010) is a lot more subdued and more in the realm of easy listening than most of Jerry's earlier music.
