Keeping The Windmill Alive – November, 2021

Perhaps you can post on a new book you're reading, a new hobby you're taking up or about random finds as you finally get around to cleaning out the..., or your most recent adventure?

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

Please keep comments polite.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

To a grocery store

I'm very boring.

But the grocery bill was way too "exciting."

.

Saving up for a trip to the gas station.

Finishing up Xmas shopping.

Finishing up Xmas shopping.

Ahh....Home Sweet Home

Just got back from a 6900 mile coast-to-coast trip. Little Nuvi did great. Directions pretty much matched Google maps with no wild routes. In fact, Nuvi had a couple of routes that turned out to work better than Google maps.

Could not believe the number of trucks on the highway. They were also parked along entrance ramps and rest areas getting their required rest. No doubt trucking is doing their part to help the supply chain issues!

Overall a great trip. Visited lots of family and friends and really enjoyed playing tourist.

Nowhere

Only went to lunch with friends.

Happy Monday

Big project today. Reassemble and clean round plastic table for my front patio. Then consider a siesta.

Bleh...

Haven't been anywhere but doctors and pharmacy. Actually my wife has been making the pharmacy runs for me as I haven't been able to do it myself. Looks like today I will have to put on actual shoes and do the pharmacy run myself as my wife just had a knee replaced. Hopefully she can come home today. It will be "fun" to deal with getting into and out of a vehicle while using a walker. Sigh... I sure hope things start to look up one of these days. There's sooooooooooooo much we want to do. Getting old can really be a drag.

On The Trail

To PA with family for thanksgiving

A seminar

An interesting seminar that I had a chance to attend.

POI

As I searched for POI today, I was reminded of the foul taste of the food poi, as found on the Hawaiian Islands. It was approximately 35-40 years ago I tasted that last time. Haven't felt the need to try it again since.

Nothing

Alas... I got nothing to say.

yep

Poi is low on my food list but (on my food list) it is a step above cream of wheat.
