NSPower in the street today, fixing poles before they fell down, feeling pretty happy, blackouts last winter were not pleasant
had the neighbours in to stay for a few days, I have a gennie, they don't.

-30, 3 day blackouts, and Still "certain persons" wanted to fine everyone for not social-distancing

I live on a cul-de-sac and once a year we have a block breakfast. Most of the neighbors gather at one persons house and we all have breakfast outside. One year we had an additional meeting for an Ice Cream Social.

It's awesome to have neighbors like this. The organizer always hands out a list with everybody's address, names, and phone number so we have an emergency list. If more people lived in a neighborhood like this one I think things in general would be much nicer.

Oh, the woman who organizes the block breakfast also rings the bell around Christmas time and is there with a loaf of bread that is still hot out of the oven. Like I said, good folks on this street.

We live on a cul-de-sac and don't know a single neighbor.
But we are Hermits and recluse. Family is all we ever see.

I was going to put in some new sod last week but with 100 degrees I decided to wait till early fall.
