Drove to 3 locations in NJ finally bought one from an owner in Old Bridge

Drop off some supplies for a friend who is not able to go out with all the smoke from the fires around here.

Pickleball, socialize, fun, and pizza.

We went from Morehead City,NC to Shiloh,TN and returned. Trip went very well. Lots of traffic in I40. This is the first time we used Android Auto as the only navigation device for an extended trip.

Android Auto still has a few bugs in it. It periodically stopped working, so we had to disconnect and reconnect. Could not discern why. However, we did notice that Android Auto occasionally "disconnected" SiriusXM, which was resolved by pushing the radio button. Not as big a deal as when Android Auto itself stops working.

We have a 2019 Subaru Forester. So what is the experience of using Android Auto with other people with other car models?

I am not driving anywhere except daily commute and weekly groceries.

Drive 80-90 miles round trip to another county shopping for new SUV.

but my wife and I did make a nice long, 2+ hour drive from our home in northern Lancaster County PA to the Coral Cavern this past weekend. While the cavern tour was interesting, it was what the owner told us that sounded even more interesting. Apparently there's a place he described as an "elephant spa" right in PA! So with his directions we drove even farther West and came across it--the International Conservation Center (https://www.pittsburghzoo.org/icc/). It's a huge area, and while we didn't see any elephants roaming about, it was neat just to know that it exists. A sign on the gate states that visits are by appointment only.

Not a fun week waiting for tow trucks and paying a boat load of money in repairs. Been awhile since going through this type of scenario.

Drove from St. Joseph, MI to Sault Ste. Marie, MI and back. Camped in St. Ignace at Straits State Park.

Day trip!

Dust off the bike, load it on a rented bike trailer, and drop it off to have it serviced.

Dropped off wife in preparation for storm. (No, not leaving her in the anticipated path but to drive her folks up to the mainland.) Since Louisiana got it and it totally missed us, get to go down tonight to pick her up after she drives them home.
