Virtual Visit with Doctor

The doctors are wanting to give my husband the PRRT treatment for his cancer.

The problem. The area only does it on 2 days a week and it last all day so they can only give one person the treatment each day.
You have to get it every other month for 4 treatments.

The problem. There is a waiting list that will make it into the next year before he can get the treatment.

We are looking into seeing if there is a place he can get the treatment any faster at another location. We would have to travel but his life is so worth it.

Driving the Back Country in the Mountains of East TN

We took a drive through the mountains and countryside of East TN. It was a great way to get out, not be surrounded with a mob of people, and get to see some nice scenery.

Mary hope you can find another location that can see your husband now Keep us informed
Our prayers are with you both.

Local Stuff

There comes a time when staying at home is no longer an option. Made trips to grocery, pharmacy, and bank. Good to see everyone wearing masks and at least attempting to do social distancing. Hoping this will be over soon!

Other than to Dump and Local

Other than to Dump and Local Grocery Stores.... Nothing new here!!

Though the lot has never looked better!!!

When we bought property in 1998, we could hardly get up the driveway..... to the pad where house would go... let alone the pond.....
We had cleared ~70% of the available property by the time house was started in 2013.... We moved here in 2015..
I'd say we have cleared ~90% of the available property now....
That may not seem like an accomplishment, but if you take into consideration that there is an elevation difference of maybe 110' between the lowest and highest area of our 1.6 Acre Lot...

Thank goodness for motorcycle weather...

Riding weather has [almost] returned out here on the Canadian Prairies. Good enough to get out for a ride once or twice a week with a couple of long time riding friends. We have bluetooth intercoms on our helmets so it's easy to maintain lots of distance, have lots of chit-chat, and enjoy the fresh air and scenery.

We don't ride in the city much so we usually head out of town the quickest way possible and do 200-400km rides out in the country. Having the trusty old Garmin Montana 600 on the bike makes it easy to just follow your nose and still find your way home.
