Again... this should be interesting.
Perhaps you can post on a new book you're reading, a new hobby you're taking up or about random finds as you finally get around to cleaning out the...
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
Please keep comments polite.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.
I went to the end of the driveway with the Trash.
From the house to Walmart and back.
to the vet about 35 miles away, it was a nice ride in the country seen a few deer, more traffic then I thought would be on the road.
Been doing this for the last 2 months since my wife had her knee replaced. Got another month to go.
Finally came back to Canada after spending two months in Indian lockdown.
The doctors are wanting to give my husband the PRRT treatment for his cancer.
The problem. The area only does it on 2 days a week and it last all day so they can only give one person the treatment each day.
You have to get it every other month for 4 treatments.
The problem. There is a waiting list that will make it into the next year before he can get the treatment.
We are looking into seeing if there is a place he can get the treatment any faster at another location. We would have to travel but his life is so worth it.
We took a drive through the mountains and countryside of East TN. It was a great way to get out, not be surrounded with a mob of people, and get to see some nice scenery.
Mary hope you can find another location that can see your husband now Keep us informed
Our prayers are with you both.
I'm still here...
walmart for pickup and costco, that's it
Curbside pickup for rotisserie grill basket and some wings to use in it this week
There comes a time when staying at home is no longer an option. Made trips to grocery, pharmacy, and bank. Good to see everyone wearing masks and at least attempting to do social distancing. Hoping this will be over soon!
Thank you for your prayers. We do need them.
Some places are opening again today.
Lost my windmill.
Back in Canada but now in quarantine for 14 days.
Big trip! Went to the tire store and grocery for supplies!
Minus the tire store.
To the secret museum
grocery shopping! A person has to get out every now and again. Another plus, a small change in scenery and restocked the pantry
Government won't let me go anywhere.
Other than to Dump and Local Grocery Stores.... Nothing new here!!
Though the lot has never looked better!!!
When we bought property in 1998, we could hardly get up the driveway..... to the pad where house would go... let alone the pond.....
We had cleared ~70% of the available property by the time house was started in 2013.... We moved here in 2015..
I'd say we have cleared ~90% of the available property now....
That may not seem like an accomplishment, but if you take into consideration that there is an elevation difference of maybe 110' between the lowest and highest area of our 1.6 Acre Lot...
...to the grocery store & back :/
grand cherokee got just too unreliable to trust on long trips or for daughter to be in next year (turns 15 this fall so driver's ed in our future).
has in dash nav but we're going to use apple play/android auto and our app of choice instead.
Had to clean my side of garage to fit her in, she's both longer and wider than the car she replaced. Wife was happy to help with that since it meant "what is this part for...we're getting rid of what it goes to so trash".
Spring sunshine arrived, but still staying home.
Just a brief trip to town for supplies, and a little joy ride
But always with my mask
Riding weather has [almost] returned out here on the Canadian Prairies. Good enough to get out for a ride once or twice a week with a couple of long time riding friends. We have bluetooth intercoms on our helmets so it's easy to maintain lots of distance, have lots of chit-chat, and enjoy the fresh air and scenery.
We don't ride in the city much so we usually head out of town the quickest way possible and do 200-400km rides out in the country. Having the trusty old Garmin Montana 600 on the bike makes it easy to just follow your nose and still find your way home.
Deliver Mother's Day gifts while practicing social distancing. 2.5 hours each way and a one hour visit on the porch (10 feet apart)
She and the dog have been staying with me since mid-March when we both got work-from-home orders at our respective jobs, and we go by her place once a week to pick up mail, grab some odds and ends, and trim the lawn.
from Bethesda, MD to the Amish Market in Germantown, MD to pick-up fried chicken via curbside delivery. It was worth it.
Still staying at home.
... an hour away from home in any direction for a couple months. Have tentative plans for a trip next month, but that's still only a hundred miles or so away.
Cold and snowy Monday in Toronto.
That is it.
Went to Outback for Mothers day.
trip was to the Costco that had gas to fill up and shop--about 14 miles. Also hit the car wash because we saw the monthly charge startup so they are open. PACKED. We didn't want to vacuum too close.
Still @ home except for groceries and an oil change. However the house is getting organized!
But they didn't have a single one and haven't an idea when they will get any.
Just had friend looking for one, like you. She found one on Craig's list nearby, nearly new for a very reasonable price.
First haircut post-lockdown.
I count my blessings to have had a "too much hair" problem at this age.
Went for gasoline then took a trip down to Cape May
Just a short trip to see if things are still OK.
