Garmin Express limits the map areas I can download

Although I loathe Garmin Express, I have had to download it because the Garmin Map Updater is still telling me that 2019.20 is the current version, when the Garmin website says that is 3 versions behind.
I have addressed that in another topic though, so that is not my question. My question is, until this year I had the option of downloading all 50 states and Canada. When I downloaded Garmin Express and ran it, it only gives me the option of the lower 49 states. I am driving to Canada in about 6 weeks, and need all 50 states and Canada. What has changed/how can I get it to download the full maps?

If that's all it offered that'll be because that's what is currently loaded to your device or did you get a message indicating you didn't have sufficient space for a full map update in which case you'll need to install a sd card. If the former and you're entitled to a full map update first you need to update the installed map. Having done so run Express again which should then give you the full map update option.

Thank you. I did not get an error message about lack of space. I do have an SD card installed, but the map was not installed on it for some reason. I will re-install 2019.2 and be sure I get the full map, and try again.

I have 2 units, a Zumo 450 &
I have 2 units, a Zumo 450 & 550, that will only install Canada and Border states. I use GE to install to the device and computer, then use map install to put the rest of NA on the SD card.
. 2 Garmin DriveSmart 61 LMT-S, Nuvi 2689, 2 Nuvi 2460, Zumo 550, Zumo 450, Uniden R3 radar detector with GPS built in, includes RLC info. Uconnect 430N Garmin based, built into my Jeep. .
I guess things are better now
got a "No Room" once a few years back but have never had another on same GPS's since, 750, 765
