More Help with Extra POI Editor

Now that EPE will not support Google Maps or vise versa, I tried to display the points of Google Earth without success.

Tools > Open in GoogleEarth(tm) F9
=EPE cannot find the path to Google Earth

Help > Does not work

Options > Preferences
= no place to insert the path to my Google Earth Application

How would I display my points on GE through EPE?

EPE is not supported

EPE is not supported anymore, therefore whenever Google updates it's interfaces it is not reprogrammed in EPE by the author.

How would I display my points on GE through EPE?

1.Load the file to Extra Poi Editor.
2.Save the file on EPE as a KML.
3.On Google Earth under file.Click open and select your KML file.
4.POI'S will now show on Google Earth.

Are You Creating a New location?

If you're creating a new location(s) in a new or existing file, I suggest that you open Google Earth and EPE.

1. Search for the location in Google Earth
2. Zoom in to get good resolution.
3. Add a Placemarker (Pushpin) and drag the place marker to the driveway of the location.
4. Create and Name the new location in EPE, but don't click on the Geocoding button
4. Copy & Paste the Longitude and Latitude of the placemarker into Long & Lat in EPE. When you copy the coordinates, be careful to copy only the numbers. Do Not include the Degree Symbol.
5. Click on Grab at the top of the EPE Screen and you're set.

Not as easy as it used to be, but it is what it is. This will give you very accurate results.

Use the 32bit flavour of GE

I also experienced this awhile back. Install the 32bit version of GoogleEarth. Worked for me, but YMMD.

You won't notice the difference in GE anyway.
