C340 (POI loader.exe)

I have a c340 and am trying to download some POI's into it. I downloaded the installer from garmin and loaded in to my laptop. When I plug in my GPS it tells me I plugrd it in but when I run POI loader.exe I can see the files i want to dwonload but how do I send them to the GPS unit? If I click on send to , it dosen't show the GPS unit. I love the unit but the instructions are realy cheesy. thanks for any help

I've added a link to another post that describes a POI loader installation problem that might be happening on your PC.
Most users who've reported it are running Windows Vista, but it might also be a problem on other versions of Windows.
The telltale sign is that the "Welcome to POI Loader" screen is not shown when you try to start the program. Instead, a window opens that looks pretty much like a regular folder view of your files.
You might try reinstalling POI loader, but make sure you first delete the file mentioned in the attached post.

Create a Garmin File
Open a new file in My Documents and name it Garmin. Then open another new file inside the Garmin file and name it Custom POI's. You can then save any POI's you want into the Custom POI folder and POI loader will let you either manually or automatically transfer the POI's to your Garmin. To find the POI's on you Garmin go to WHERE TO? then to FOOD, HOTELS, and MORE then to CUSTOM POINTS and they should be there.
