Hello kind Gurus,
Just wondering if there's a way (besides using the supplied USB cable) to wirelessly transfer specific stills and videos from my DashCam 55 to my Android 7.0 smartphone, using the Android VIRB app? I would be interested in "Saved Photos" "Travelapse Vids" and "Saved Videos". For "on scene" evidenciary purposes.
I think it has something to do with the "share" icon <8 option that appears next to the "delete" trashcan underneath or near the vids and pics when I'm viewing them on my smartphone. I've tried clicking the share icon, and sometimes it seems to work but not always. Sometimes I click share on a video, and it seems to switch to replay mode, but I don't know if it's actually transferring it from the cam to the phone. Or, maybe it is working and I just can't find the directory where VIRB app stores them on my phone.
I have no trouble getting the DC55 and my phone to connect using the wifi or bluetooth part of the process. I just can't seem to figure out the "cookbook" method to do file transfer wirelessly.
Has anyone got a step by step cookbook methodology for doing this?
I tried searching for one on here, and on the internet, but have come up empty.
