In case anyone else runs across this --
I tried starting GE right after the update and it just hung with the splash screen. Did a reboot and got same results. However, once I connected my Garmin device then GE started and ran normally.
YMMV.

Last time I did a GE update I had to update .NET. Not sure if this requires the same but I'll try it soon! Thanks for the update!
