To pick up the ghia

I used my old trusty Garmin Nuvi loaded with POI's from this site to navigate an outdoors, saltwater fishing related, travel resort/working vacation over a three week period very recently.

I traveled all over the state of Florida from Crystal River down to Sanibel/Captiva Island on the Gulf Coast and across the state to Vero Beach, Fort Pierce, Jensen Beach, and Jupiter on the Atlantic Coast.

All my custom POI destination files gathered from this site worked like a charm.

Went to see my Aunt, got my son a haircut from her and she gave us 3 massive Ziploc bags that were 4ft tall with toys from her nephew that he was wanting to give to my son.

First RV trip in over 2 years. Over 2300 miles, Arizona to Pennsylvania. Half day to go.

Went up-Island on Thursday and went through a snowstorm, interesting drive. coming back on Sunday was a nice sunny day go figure.

Went to Seattle this last week. The downtown area was pretty cool. The people were a bit snooty. Took a day trip down to Oregon, my wife and I liked that even more. Wish we would've went to Oregon as our main trip.

I know how this is! Lol!

Just got back from a cruise. 28 days. 5 ports in Hawaii then on to the South Pacific. Visited Tahiti, Bora Bora, Pago Pago, and Moorea. Got back last night and... it was cold! Damn. All those days in the sun and now it's back to reality.

Had 3 GPSs running (Waze, Google Maps, and Dodge UConnect). All routed us on back road for the last hour. They rarely agreed on the correct route. Fairly common to come to an intersection and get 3 different directions. I preset Google Maps for the return. Far better roads than going.

How did we ever navigate when we only had one GPS.

Rode to the HOG Rally in Pensacola Fl. Used the built-in GPS most of the time. Only used the Garman to find one of my POIs once.

Drive out to Utah last weekend.
