In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

My holidays are over & I'll be going back to work next week since I wasn't able to connect with neither the Powerball nor Mega Millions once again.
I must say that the 3250 mile round trip went well & my 3597 stayed on for 19.5 hours in a row without a single glitch.
I'm amazed on how many FedEx trucks I saw on the highway, it's really unbelievable, they're everywhere !
I didn't notice any significant changes using 2018.30 except that the speed limit indications were very accurate compared to previous maps.

Got me a new garmin. the NUVICAM . quite a piece of equipment. hadn't got it all figured out yet tho. Took a trip from FLA to the smokie mountains and run the cam. it has a good picture, one thing I like is it give you a lot of different warnings.

If you got the wrong IHOP Location from the POI Factory file for IHOP, you should report the error along with the correct location to mahoney so he can fix it.

Drove 3000 miles

Grandchildren
Drove from San Tan Valley AZ to Echo Park LA to get our grandchildren to bring back to AZ for Thanksgiving. Got to try out my new Drivesmart 51. Worked great.
A trip that usually takes up to 7 hours took 10 hours due to road construction.
Tuesday morning we returned and it again took 10 hours. Hope the road crew gets the weekend off when we repeat the trip.

Trekking through the mountains.
Return trip
Took the grandchildren back to LA. Was slow on I 10 but moving.
At the bottom of 10 mile hill by Indio it was a mess. Traffic was wall to wall until we got to I 210 where we got to drive a normal speed.
In return on Sunday we saw that traffic from the 10 mile decline to the I 210 was a traffic jam. I kept muttering that those cars will not see LA for at least 4 hours if that.
Drive went well until exit 114 on I 10 when it was slow traffic.
I turned on my 1490 and put detour in and it took me around the mess and once returned to I 10 drove home fast. It only lost 1 half hour on our trip.
We promised not to do this trip next year.
