Nuvi 360 going back

I'm sending my nuvi back because the sound quit working. I'm thinking of getting the nuvi 350 since it's on sale at costco. It's selling now for 469cnd 120 dollars less than what I paid for the 360. I belive the only difference in the 2 is that the 360 has blue tooth, which I dont use.Everything else is the same. Am I correct.

.

Yes, they are the same except for the Bluetooth.

You can do a full comparison on any Garmin GPS at Garmin's Comparison Website. Just check the units you want compared and click 'Compare'.

GPSr feature comparison - Different brands

If you want to compare features of GPS receivers from different manufacturers, there is a pretty handy site called www.gpsgenie.com. There you can compare a Garmin to a Lowrance to a Magellan to a TomTom all side by side. I have selected as many as 7 different models, and there they were!
GPSGenie is a retail site, and they will gladly sell you a GPS, but you don't have to spend a penny to use the comparison tool. (I can't vouch for them as a store, never bought anything from them.)

just to be sure

Trust me..........I am NOT insinuating anything here.....just asking. Are you sure the sound is actually not working and it is not just muted (or in FM TX mode or something........360 does have an FM tx doesn't it?)

Nuvi 660

Check around on the price

I just noticed you used Canadian dollars which would explain the high price. I got my 360 for $300US brand new so check around. Ebay and Dealnews.com are two good places. As to the 350 vs the 360, the handsfree on the 360 isn't that great (and I use an external mic). The bluetooth is also very aggressive: I have a pair of Oakley Razorwire bluetooth sunglasses and when I get in the car, the 360 steals the connection away from the Razorwires.
The 360's handsfree is convenient and easy to use, though, even if the sound isn't great on the other side.

You may also want to look into deals on the 660's. Sams Club has them in the $600's and eBay deals are even better. Good luck!

I don't know where I'm going or remember where I've been...without Garmin.

The sound only works with a

The sound only works with a headset, or if I hook up my FM transmitter. I just came back from returning the unit, no questions asked. Thats one good thing about Costco. I think I'll go ahead and order the 350, unless someone out there has a better suggestion.

Thanks all

I have the 360 and the sound

I have the 360 and the sound is so bad on it anyway I can barely use it and I would recomend it only if you are going to hook up to external speakers AND external mic
