No, it's just a new way for MS to spy on you.

How nice. More playthings

How nice. More playthings for W10.

Yep, the business user will just love this. Obviously MS is targeting the child adult and those whose whole life revolves around doing social nothings.

I never get lost, but I do explore new territory every now and then.

Windows 10

Best in MS opinion. If you haven't already gone thru all the settings and turned off as much spyware as possible...you should. But doesn't mean MS won't turn it back on. They are in control

Spyware?

As the old saying goes, "If it's free, you're not the customer, you're the product being sold."

If it wasn't for a few Windoze only applications that I have

I would have abandoned M$loth's creaky and cranky OS for a linux distro a long time ago.... .maybe that day will yet come.

More and more the majority

More and more the majority of people will allow big data to analyze everything for us. The privacy issue is so complex!

growing trend

Seems a lot of things are trying to take control of how you do things, some, no matter how many times you set your settings will revert to what "they" think you want.

Windows has been doing it for awhile, I choose the programs I want to use then I'll get a notice that "something went wrong" and was reverted back to the default program, facebook does it as well, just to name a couple.

As long as the sheep accept it, they'll keep doing it. Just like Gov, and corporations.

People need to get off their big, fat comfort zone, and yell a little!

really ?

kinda like the cloud they let you keep all your info on their hard drives just to be nice to you for free ! now they have facial recignition and photo improvement next they will take care of all your banking needs medical needs . how much of your life do you want them to take care of ? there are things you want to handle yourself once you give them control its hard if not impossible to get back control over you .

Exactly

If it's not on your computer drives, you don't own it anymore.

Cloud storage = someone else's hard drive

Plain and simple. Once you let something go there, there is no longer any spectrum of privacy left. Your data is at their mercy, with or without terms of service. You also have to hope that their tech staff is at least on par with the hackers that are trying to get to your data. What happens after a data breach? "Ooops, we're sorry that happened. We'll try harder not to let it happen again." How satisfying... No thank you.
