Does anyone here still play with a game Device? (Xbox, Playstation,Ect)

Knowing the average age group on this great site, I was wondering if anyone still plays on game consoles?

I still play on my Xbox One (use to be Xbox360) Keeps my mind sharp, and gets me to play with my grown kids remotely. Most of the games are 1st person shooting games but also play GTA! I play both online and the local missions.

I still find it fun and enjoyable.

How about you?

Some

One of the girls bought herself a PS4, with money she earned from her after school job. She carries it back and forth between the two houses. Jonathan plays with her sometimes, but I find the controls too complicated to use. I never really got beyond the old Nintendo Entertainment System.

Over the holidays we bought a cheap little Sega Genesis, all in one thing. It has most of the old games built in to it. I play one called "The Mean Bean Machine", it's like a spiteful Tetris. razz

Nope.

I can honestly say I've never played any type of video game. Seems like a complete waste of my time.

On the other had, my stepson has all the game consoles, PS2 thru PS4, Wii, Wii Universe, Nintendo DSx, etc, and games loaded on his laptop. He's even got his Mother hooked on a couple of the easier games. He's 25 and spends more time playing games than any other activity, including work I think.

Maybe someday the human race will be born with a game controller instead of a hand. smile

I never get lost, but I do explore new territory every now and then.

PS3 Move.

I don't play video games myself, but I have a PS3 Move console. I use it mostly as a DVD player and for streaming from Amazon Prime. The kids and grand kids use it for video gaming when they come to visit.

I was born with a joy stick IN my hand. Does that count?

At Times

I'm still young at heart playing Gran Turismo on my old PS3.

no more

no longer

Xbox

My kid still plays Xbox.

Atari

I'm showing my age here but I used my old Atari 300 with the nieces and nephews until a few years ago. Now, they (and me as well) get their gaming fixes on their smartphones. Sold the Atari on eBay for almost 5 times what I originally paid for it!

Nope

I haven't played any of those games since the original Atari (which I still have) went obsolete...I do play WGT golf on the iPad and enjoy it smile

X360, but less often

I've not upgraded to the Xbox One, as there is nothing there for me. All the game content seems to be variations on alien shootouts and racing games. I've got my collection of X360 games that still satisfy the occasional use.

Have a PS4 and never get time to turn it on with two young children.

Games...

My daughter loves all the Lego games (Wife too) They are good to play together and solve the puzzles on each level. I love to play battlefield type games as well as GTA V (Grand Thief Auto)

I play on Xbox one now and it is a good game console. I use to hate to play online due to all the younger kids - they just love to keep killing you.. I could not last more than a minute when I played online.

Now, I think the game creators are hearing the people that are tired of dying online.. no fun in that. Seems that these new games are now making you go online but instead of fighting each other, you have to work as a team to fight computer enemies. Much more fun that way.

Only problem now is that not everyone puts headsets on to talk to each other.

Haven't really played...

...since PacMan went the way of the dodo bird. Although, I did hear that maybe they were bringing him back. That was a fun game.

I would have bought the NES classic if I saw it in stock ...

Sadly the shortage is profound so I guess I missed my chance. sad

Not in quite a few years..

Not in quite a few years..

never

had one, ever. Maybe live a deprived life!

But I have seen videos of GTA and American Trucker on YouTube, and it's amazing how lifelike they are. Could be addictive, so very resolved not to ever get any of those, and would not want my son on those (hear other parents saying door closed, kids spend hours upon hours gaming). Where does one find the time as an adult?

PC GAMER

I'm a PC gamer, guess I'm just an old geek. I'm 53 and built my first computer around 1990. Still play occasionally, right now I playing Mass Effect Andromeda. Before that it had been a few years since I played.

Playing on a pc is different than on a Xbox, that's for sure. I still play on the PC but Xbox plays different and is better for muti Players..

Back in my day, I ran a BBS (bulletin Board System) way before the Internet ever came out. Got a lot of games and other free/Shareware software that way. Still got them stored somewhere around here. Been working on PCs a VERY long time..
