Thus far, this has been a perfectly average Summer

Temps no worse than a couple of mid 90s days, a modest drought recently broken by a number of multi inch rain falls. Tried to find some early summer lawn fertilizer and couldn't find any supply at any price. Typical.

Now here is the question of the week: why is it that a contract for utility wind power is always a couple of cents more/kwh than conventional oil, regardless of the price of crude/boiler fuel or season?
