I too tossed my watch when I retired. I never wear it. Well almost never. The only time I wear it now is when I am on vacation going somewhere and I need to know the time schedule for the airline or whatever.

To me that's funny. Never wear it except when off on vacation. The use is for me not some other persons deadline.

Exciting week end coming!

Well, it's been pretty warm here in Sacramento, but it will be cooler this week end. That's the good news. The better news is Sacramento has been chosen by the Tour of California Bicycle Race as the final stage finish line for this year's race. That means that on Sunday, my wife and I will take the train down town and enjoy the race without having to find/pay for parking. This is a tradition we have kept alive since the race has been coming to Sacramento. We really look forward to and enjoy the day every year. I hope you have found something to do with your family every year. Traditions become fond memories at some time in your/their life.

Today was upper 80's in Florida. During my working years just south of Montreal I use to say when I retire I am going to throw my snow shovel in the back of my truck and drive south until someone ask me whit kind of a shovel is that. Thats how I found Florida.
