Learned about Archive files in blog here. http://www.poi-factory.com/node/30171#comment-form.Discovere... sequentially numbered GPX files in 765T's Garmin/Archive folder. Mapsource app no longer around. In Garmin folder there is a GPX file named Current. Rename that to Orig-Current. Copy a GPX file from Archive to Garmin folder. Rename copied file to Current. Go to Base Camp(BC) App. BC will now see old trips. Use normal BC functions to see trip and save as Adventure. You can repeat copy-rename cycle till you are happy. When done delete Current file and rename Orig-Current to Current.
Mapsource
Mapsource app no longer around.
Actually incorrect. It's still around, just not being updated any longer.
See this for Garmin Mapsource downloads.

Current.gpx is an output file that is automatically created everytime you boot the GPS up.
I don't see the point in all the renaming you have described as any gpx file should be able to be loaded in Basecamp. If Basecamp doesn't see the gpx files in archive folder automatically, you can just browse that folder and drag and drop any or all of the gpx files there into Basecamp.
