This is the place to talk about things that are not GPS related.
This thread will be closed on Monday and a new one will be opened.
Usually still have 3 foot snowbanks to melt now... All gone. City has already swept the streets!

Morning rain impending tomorrow. At least it'll be warm?
Have a great week everyone!
I am thankful to be alive now. Spring bloom is in full swing and beautiful and we are planning a long RV road trip later in the summer. Yes, I am very thankful.

Now I am in the middle of painting a Huey Cobra over Vietnam for my Brother. Not easy but I enjoy the challenge.
Finger slipped and I pushed the post button twice....
Happy work week
Thanks for leaving your money at COTA this past weekend - we appreciate the love!
I’ve got good news and bad news…
The good news is:
Mondays only happen once a week.
The bad news is:
I lied, there is no bad news.
Drive safely and I’ll see when some good news happens again…
Somewhere, somehow, sometime.
Just maybe not today.
But, today we can rest easy.
.....to get stuff done so we can use our GPS on the open road.
Ooh, coffee's ready!
Welcome to the rest of the week!
We decided to make a weekend trip to Kalispell, Montana and stopped at a Famous Dave's for lunch. I wasn't to hungry so I ordered a beer and an appetizer called "burnt ends." I had no idea what they were but figured any appetizer with a tall cold one was worth the adventure.
Oh my.....those were the best things I have had in a long time. I ordered 2 more to go and had another serving that night in the hotel room and nuked the other one in a coffee cup in the Best Western I was staying at and poured them over the eggs at the free breakfast the following morning.
Thankfully, I live 200 miles from the place or I'd have to double up on the cholesterol meds

Rained all day yesterday, but sunny today. Have a great week!
Speaking of...I do have to say that the little travel French presses (basically it is a French press built into an insulated travel coffee cup) are awesome and win As long as you can get some hot water, you're good.
And yes, they do work for tea (for those who can't do coffee for whatever reason). I've used them for loose-leaf tea (sometimes yerba mate, sometimes rooibos, sometimes non-caffeine herbal teas) and they work well for this.
Now I just have to figure out a solution for hot water on the road other than truck stops
That's more than I eat in a meal. Appetizer???? I would be stuffed and not able to eat anything else after the appetizer.
Look at this! Just take bottles of water and pour in glass.
America's Civil War begins at Fort Sumter
In the opening salvo of the Civil War, Confederate forces fire upon the Union-held Fort Sumter in South Carolina's Charleston Bay. General P.G.T. Beauregard's shore batteries bombard Major Anderson's federal troops.
I forgot to check in.
Could not log into this site for a few. Was a bit worried. Happy now.
