New Garmin User here

Automotive Garmin that is, I'm very familiar with Aviation Garmin. I bought 3 Garmin Units, 65LM for the Wife, 67LM for Daughter and the 2639LMT for me.
We love our Garmins, easy to set up and Navigate.
Well back to to reading all I can................

Thanks for the welcome! I've

Thanks for the welcome! I've backed up the Units and deleted unnecessary files. My Daughter has a built in NAV and it's a PIA to use plus the dealership wants 2 bills a pop for updates, she likes her 67LM a whole lot better.................

Which aviation Garmin package are you using? The G3000 is very nice.

Welcome!!!

Welcome aboard Chief_10Beers.

Can't go wrong

I have 2 cars with built in but I keep my 3 Garmin units up to date with map/firmware/POI updates as well. I really prefer the Garmins but the built ins get the job done. I have not updated those maps yet and will wait a few more releases before I shell out the money.

Garmin

My wife's car has built-in GPS but I prefer my old nüvi 760. My son just bought a 2016 Rubicon and it has a built-in Garmin. I would prefer that to what my wife has.

Thanks all! I use my PND everyday as you'll never know when you have to detour because of car/truck crash. Happens quite often in my neck of the woods................

use them, I install them. Aircraft is beyond my budget when you factor in Annual Inspections, 24mo certs, repairs and the price of Parts. Avionics are way up there......................
