Took a ride to a dark section of the Blue Ridge Parkway for some star photography.

Coming home from Maryland. Grandson's 17th birthday.

To the Veterans Reunion.

cousin's place in Tempe. Helping with move to new place. Quite a job since she's been in her place for over 20 years! Nuvi helped us find our way to the new place we had never been to.

Drove from Arizona to Utah.

All weekend.

To open her up....let her breathe....fix whats broken and clean up winters devastation. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Going to go for a rip around on the motorcycle possibly tonight as it is starting to warm up. Just have to make sure that people see me - a few accidents around already.

It has been a while since just rain shut down Houston. Anyhow, my two main routes to work were/are still under water. The brand new third loop--a tollway--is closed again because of flooding.

Last trip was business to ST. Louis. Next trip is Orlando, personal.

Got to work on my Baby, a side job I have on a Beechjet 400A I maintain. About a 240 mile round trip. My Garmin worked Flawlessly as usual!..................

Perfect routing to a VERY out of the way destination within the city. The Nuvi took me on the most direct route through the city maze of one-way side streets and all of the required "around the blocks" to get me to the front door of the place. No muss, no fuss!

Crazy weather, spring/winter mix. Come on summer, come back to us.

Moved a bunch of startup equipment to a new demo location. Maybe it will help us get some money. At least it's not as long of a drive as the old lab location.

Used the TomTom Go to find a few restaurants. I knew the way from memory (I used to live there), but needed the map to give directions to someone else.

Lost mine. I do not get here as much as I did. My trips are limited to commuting. The last long trip I took was 2 1/2 years ago from Long Island to Toronto. Now my longest trip is 24 miles from home to work. I use the GPS for traffic updates and recently had to take a massive detour due to traffic issues. But being on Long Island, there are very few places you can go to avoid traffic. Limited space and lots of cars.

Navigated from PA to Florida Keys with lots of things in between. Features I like: Up-Ahead. I don't like traffic coupled to the iPhone using Smartlink. When traveling in the car, my phone connects to the vehicle entertainment system. The Zumo 590 reliance on the iPhone for traffic data means I have to choose.

Drove from IL to OR. Garmin GPS worked fine whereas cell phone signal was lost towards the mountains. Nebraska smells like poop.

Veterans Reunion

Explored some of the many backroads here on DELMARVA yesterday. GPS kept me from getting totally lost. Beautiful sunny day, great topdown drive.
