In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.

Paired my nuvi 2598 with Smartphone Link app on my iPhone 6. Was much happier with the traffic info offered through the app, and used by my nuvi, over the built in HD Traffic that comes with the unit.

Rough trip ..... Used my Garmin's detour function a few times on I-95 ...great/quick tool. Surely will use it again!

I learned a lesson
My wife went to Pittsburgh to visit our grandson. She took my Garmin.
Then I got lost in the backcountry roads of Cocke County Tennessee for several hours. Police had to come get me and lead me back out.

In that situation, just follow the next Walmart Truck you see. It will lead you back to civilization.

12-Hour Drive
Drove from Birmingham, AL to home (Eastern Shore, MD) yesterday. Total of 830 miles, took 12 hours including 2 gas stops. (yes I was driving fast at times). Garmin was right on the whole way, including traffic issues. For some unknown logic, Tennessee Highway Department feels it is appropriate to shut down 3 of 4 Interstate lanes on Sunday to do "routine" maintenance.

Last Trip
Drove from Chicago-land area down to Oklahoma City. 12 hour trip. Used my Garmin in conjunction with built in gps installed in 2016 MDX. I actually like the Garmin better other than it is another external gadget to deal with. I will no longer bring the Garmin in that particular vehicle simply because it has one installed even though it could be much better in implementation. Will continue to use Garmin in vehicles not equipped with on board GPS. I don't know who provides the GPS for the Acura line of cars, but they are not up to speed with the Garmins.
