In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.
Just got up so does the bathroom count?
with rain in Washington, DC but tomorrow might be good for a spring trip to the Shendoah's.
Ride for United Humanitarians Saturday
Just came back from first time in Las Vegas. Fun times... Late nights.
this week. Will update POIs since there is a trip planned for next week
Paired my nuvi 2598 with Smartphone Link app on my iPhone 6. Was much happier with the traffic info offered through the app, and used by my nuvi, over the built in HD Traffic that comes with the unit.
Did you need the GPS to find your way?
Starting to get cold again.
A little snow.
Have a good weekend everyone
Taking our baby girl (if you're a parent, you know -- she'll always be my baby girl) to the airport; she's flying to Miami to go on a week long cruise with friends (and paying for it herself).
Our little girl isn't so little anymore!
Dropped her off with have fun, please be safe, and we love you.
I'll pick her up in a week.

Looks like we're getting some more snow......
Just returned from 3 months in Florida.
Actually did a Trip Plan on the GPS and it worked pretty well. That is the first time I really followed a trip plan with several stops.
and back to GA with no issues. Did see several miles long backups in the other direction due to overturned trucks
Just got a new car that has Navigation. Will be interesting to see how it routes me on my trip on Friday as compared to my Garmin.
For the winter... and now back home
in search of Antiques shops.
Drove to Carlsbad Caverns and back.
Rough trip ..... Used my Garmin's detour function a few times on I-95 ...great/quick tool. Surely will use it again!
My wife went to Pittsburgh to visit our grandson. She took my Garmin.
Then I got lost in the backcountry roads of Cocke County Tennessee for several hours. Police had to come get me and lead me back out.
from west coast.
In that situation, just follow the next Walmart Truck you see. It will lead you back to civilization.
Drove from Birmingham, AL to home (Eastern Shore, MD) yesterday. Total of 830 miles, took 12 hours including 2 gas stops. (yes I was driving fast at times). Garmin was right on the whole way, including traffic issues. For some unknown logic, Tennessee Highway Department feels it is appropriate to shut down 3 of 4 Interstate lanes on Sunday to do "routine" maintenance.
Drove from Chicago-land area down to Oklahoma City. 12 hour trip. Used my Garmin in conjunction with built in gps installed in 2016 MDX. I actually like the Garmin better other than it is another external gadget to deal with. I will no longer bring the Garmin in that particular vehicle simply because it has one installed even though it could be much better in implementation. Will continue to use Garmin in vehicles not equipped with on board GPS. I don't know who provides the GPS for the Acura line of cars, but they are not up to speed with the Garmins.
Washington, DC to Boston, MA
Getting ready to fly to St. Louis tomorrow.
Albuquerque over the weekend
April will find the GPS being used to locate a number of Tour of Honor Memorials in Texas and Louisiana.
To the library maybe. Then maybe Vero Beach to see my ancient aunt.
Another trip. Nice to have a GPS when there are no road signs.
...for some NASCAR action.
Polar vortex is coming again tomorrow. Cold weather for the next couple of days.
a Lodge meeting.
Going today to meet my newest grandson, born this morning.
A friend had a horse show, and a few of us showed up in support.
Back in the snow again.
