POI wav files only play when set as destination ??????

If you are using the same TourGuide file with the same radius setting for each GPS it should duplicate the 855 when you are near Walmart using TourGuide. You may want to extend the radius a little more to see what results you get and run GPS in simulation mode to verify.

Tap on the Volume Icon on the main menu and make sure the volume is turned up and not muted.

Now, tap on the Settings Icon on the main menu; then, touch the down arrow; then tap on"Proximity Alerts"; then tap on "Alerts" and make sure that "Custom POIs is checked.

Now, make sure the settings are correct an tap Save.

Then, tap "Audio" and make sure the audio is not "off" - I prefer, of the other two choices, "Single Tone". Tap "Save" and you should be good to go.

The wav. files play fine and loud when wal-mart is set as the destination, but they don't play when you just drive by.

You posted that TourGuide in the file name was being used. If the alarms are working as a destination then the coordinate is outside the 1 mile radius you have set for the alarm. Post one of the locations you are trying to get a alert for when you pass by.

Also in your post you show as tour guide.To work it must be spelled like this TourGuide to receive a radius alert.Plus using Poiloader to set the alert distance as 1 mile.

If like this below you will only be set up for along the road of travel for the alert. Based on the location of most Walmart coordinates.Along the road will not set off the voice alert when you drive by.Depends on each coordinate.

Changing to a capital G should work for you.

I assume one of the above bmps really is a typo and you meant csv.

Once you change to TourGuide like this you will get the desired alert. Make sure to set the distance for the radius when you run PoiLoader. Double check the text on each one before loading. Let us know how you make out with the changes. You may have to adjust the radius to get your desired results. Be careful to not over set the radius. It could cause other custom pois to alert that may be in the radius.

Just as a follow up. TourGuide does not have to first in the name of the custom poi.Another example that works see below.
