Went to Los Angeles toget our grandchildren and then to San Tan Valley to see our daughter.(110F) And then to Pie Town NM for a pie lunch and then to VLA to show the kids how scientists explore the universe. We were lucky for while standing by one of the dishes all 23 of them turned completely180 degrees from west to east in less than 4 minutes. Did not realize that such huge dishes could turn that fast and all looking at the same spot.

Darn,Another problem with my Kenwood,Garmin unit.Cannot find satellites,so i dont know where i am with my GPS!!!

You don't need satellites to know you are within arm's length of the unit.

Spent the 4th getting fresh crabs from Chesapeake!

Bought a new HD Limited yesterday. So I'll be testing the new onboard GPS taking a ride tomorrow and another on Saturday.

planning a trip for later this month to the coast - Not much riding this year.

Buddy and I went on a 150 mile lunch trip to meet a retired co-worker by motorcycle. Nuvi 50 worked fine.

Overheard at Lowes when getting on my bike this morning, "Look at that, he has a GPS on his motorcycle."

Went round trip from Myrtle Beach to N Wilksboro, NC. Interesting that my 3590LMT sent me on different routes going to and then from. The going to route sent me on some really rural roads to reach an interstate as fast as I could. The going from route got me off of the interstate sooner and put me on local roads longer.

Maybe somewhere down the road.

Enjoy that time as it will all to suddenly end especially after their hornymones really get going... Then you and the parents won't get any time with what was once precious little grand children!
