I have no vested interest in this site but I thought people here might find it interesting. It's actually kind of addicting once you start playing.
The site will pick a random location anywhere in the world (you can also limit it to certain countries). It will then show you a Google streetview of the location. You can move and look around as you would in streetview. Your task is to identify the exact location and plot it on a map. Your are awarded points by how close you get to the actual location.

I cheated just a bit... move up and down the road until you find an identifying sign (Dave's Drive In) or named building (Clive Baptist Church), and then search for it on Google Maps.

Most of the time I just waste time being a has exchanger... You know breathing in oxygen, nitrogen and smog and converting it into carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and various other pollutants!

The Geoguesser dropped me onto a dirt road in a desert mountainous region. Looks like fun for motorcycling, but could be anywhere arid and mountainous.

But I do like to fish. Even though sometimes it's just drowning worms & and letting the brain go into neutral for a couple hours.
And I can putter away hours in the garage working on the old Corvette.
I never get lost, but I do explore new territory every now and then.
