In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

To my motorcycle fixit man to get my 1992 Goldwing running again.
the summer is shaping up. Probably swing west to California and take 101 all the way up the coast through Oregon and back down wine country.
Now the only real decision, motorcycles or camper? Better idea yet, upgrade trailer and take both!
Letting the GPS guide me around town when I know exactly where I'm going, just because I'm happy to be back in town.
Another Atlanta trip coming up next week. DRATS! Nothing necessarily wrong with Atlanta. I just hate to be away from home so much.
I still turn the GPS on anytime I get in the car, especially for work. I use the tracks to remember where I was on any given day.
to remember where I was on any given day.
Gee, I resemble that remark
Nowhere particular this week.
of more years and the Goldwing will be celebrating a silver anniversary. Enjoy!
Last place i navigated to was home. I knew where i was going, but i recently made it a custom POI and it sounds like a plane landing when i pull up!!
Went out to my trailer today to open it up and hook up the water. This is the only real sign of spring although today was decent, we still can expect some cold weather for a week or so. It was nice to get out and let the beagles run around. I've been there at least a 1000 times but I still use my Garmin to show my speed when I'm cruising the tollway.
Just another day in the windy city.
Just come back form a cruise down and up the California coastal cruise. All relaxed.
road trip to Emerald lake BC
Well, the April showers have started. Just in time, since we definitely need the moisture. Time to turn things green.
Leaving for Las Vegas at the end of the month to attend a convention, will definitely put the new maps to a test to see how accurate it does around Las Vegas
At the Bluebonnet in the Texas Hill Country.
Just took a long drive in the country, just to enjoy the spring weather.
Heading down to Florida Saturday for a 5 week vacation
The rest along with the warmth will do as good as we've had a very cold winter for those of us north of the 49th parallel.
Just out enjoying the 19c day today.
Albany (you pick the state)
Scary how little snow we have. Gonna be a dry hot summer.
Enjoyed a beautiful day last Saturday riding with friends to Davey Park in Palestine, Texas to see the Dogwoods in Bloom. Got to enjoy the East Texas scenery and see all the trees welcoming spring. Was on the lookout for Bluebonnets but guess it is just a bit early. Lot's of other wild flowers though.
Pearl Harbor to Wahiawa
Up to Killington Mt for a peek at the snow caps..beautiful up here
Took my New To Me 765T out to test the TWN software and tweaked Emily TTs voice. It works great!
Found out the new road across from my street is in the map but my work road isn't so I go off map when I park there.
...apologies to John Travolta
that windmill alive.
I've been trying some 60-70 mile trips with my new 2599LMTHD trying out the new functions (from my 1490Ts)...lots of fun - especially the voice commands! I still haven't seen the HD traffic report anything, but haven't really run into much traffic over the last few trips.
I'm still trying to figure out how the new Junction View works - getting off at the same exit on two different days, one time it gave me the dynamic lane guidance, the next time it only gave me the photo-realistic JV...so I'm not quite sure how it determines which one to use.. I'm sure I'll figure it out as I continue to play with it.
Overall- very happy with the new toy...the five years of technology difference between the two is huge!
Went down to Niagara/St. Catherine's region to a winery for a tour and tasting. Grabbed 6 bottles , hit up another and grabbed 2 more.
A wet Wednesday ,rain no ice.
a short drive about an hour or so out of town for work for 1 day, using the Garmin to get me to the venue, haven't been there.
My first moto ride in two years!!!
I do have mine all the time. Around town to see what streets around, look for places just in case I need to go somewhere without knowing what`s there. I cam be alert for red-light cams in areas I don`t know.
Now, I am looking for points of interest from Detroit to Florida Panhandle. I found one POI that I have to stop and is already in Alabama (Unclaimed Baggage ). That looks good for some merchandise.
Now I ma looking for some interesting stops to relax.
Back at our Atlanta office and navigating the area around the hotel.
Went to work

In Florida at Lake George and Juniper River.
For my 3,000 + mile drive home via Wichita, Ks. in a week.
Myrtle Beach South Carolina this weekend. Lets see if the new map changed any routes.
function on the trusty 2555LMT saved us a bunch of time today. We were headed downtown to meet up with a friend who had just arrived from back East. Ten miles of the Interstate was basically shutdown with a traffic issue and the Nuvi did the job with a great alternate route!
