I get "file not found" when I try the links for the large JCV file...

‹ nuvi 35x7 and 35x8 (GCD File) software version 4.80 as of March 25, 2015 Is there a FAQ for this? ›

Is Rame1012 still around?

Back in August, 2011 concerning the large, full-screen JCV file he was able to get Garmin to provide, rame1012 wrote: "I now have one of the VP's phone numbers, and the head of Garmin's help desk's direct e-mail, so if there's ever a problem in the future, I can always go straight to the big guys about it."

The head of Garmin's help desk has been making the large, full-screen JCV file available with every map update since August, 2011. I don't remember having to wait more than a day or two for the link to work.

Yes.

Rame1012 is still active ... posted in the "CN NA 2015.40 Available for download" thread on Wednesday. Maybe he will see your post and comment. Otherwise you could try to contact him through the user contact tab.
