Google Earth Pro License Key

I hope this hasn't been posted at POI factory. Google is offering free license key. I don't really think I'd need the extra features but I'm signing up anyway because it's free. This may be useful to some of you.

The cost for Google Earth Pro is now zero

Get the key here:

more info:
The URL indicates trial version but it is free for good.

What is Google Earth Pro?

Google Earth Pro builds on the amazing functionality of Google Earth with even more powerful tools. Some of the most compelling features of Earth Pro include:

Advanced Measurements: Measure parking lots and land developments with polygon area measure, or determine affected radius with circle measure.
High-resolution printing: Print Images up to 4800x3200 px resolution.
Exclusive Pro data layers: Demographics, parcels, and traffic count.
Spreadsheet Import: Ingest up to 2500 addresses at a time, assigning placemarks and style templates in bulk.
GIS import: Visualize ESRI shapefiles (.shp) and MapInfo (.tab) files.
Movie-Maker: Export Windows Media and Quicktime HD movies, up to 1920x1080 resolution.

The increased functionality isn't useful for every user but you can't beat the price right now.

Thanks to both of you for the great information

I looked at the web site and ran the video.
I got my key and downloaded Google Earth Pro.
It did take a few clicks back and forth to get it to register but it worked.
Thanks for posting this information.

Now to see if it works with BaseCamp or if I have to keep regurlar Google Earth for BaseCamp.

Opened BaseCamp

Then I clicked on a place and said to View In Google Earth and the Google Earth Pro came up.
It does work with BaseCamp.

So I guess I can delete the Regular Google Earth???

It took a few minutes to click the back button and resummit but it finally worked. There may be a lot of people asking for the license key and it hangs up. But keep trying and it will work.

The form you fill out for the license asked a few questions and they all have an * that is required. They ask for work, occupation, and a few other questions like that. I just filled them in as "none" as I have none and put personal as use and it took it. I did put my personal information in, name, email etc. but Google already has that.

Regarding signing up for the

Regarding signing up for the license key, if you attempt to hide information, such as entering "n/a" for a phone number, Google will reject it. So make sure you enter the information correctly, even if the information is falsified, e.g. telephone number or employer.

Got it on my first try

You can enter all fake information, including name, area code, and phone number, place where you work, etc. The only true information you must enter is your E-mail,( Remember Your E-Mail screen name is also your user name that you will need to enter later on) I try the first time and few minutes later I riceived an E mail with the activation code. ones you get the mail download the Pro version of Google Earth or if you wish you can download early.

Install the program and Run it.

when asked for user name enter your E mail screen name in the top column,on the lower side copy and paste or writing down the Key code that you got in the mail.and the Program will be actived.

You can op-out installing google chrome,by removing the check mark, also you can select to Autoupdate.

On it

May the force be with you Chewbacca.

The only problem I had was

The only problem I had was that Safari (MAC) refused to load the final download URL. I tried a lot of things, including disabling Adblock and Java. But no go. I had to fire up Windows 7 in the Virtual machine and download the Mac version.

I had entered a '555' phone number because I didn't want to give that up, and kept getting the message you got. I changed the 555 to something else and it worked.

Holy smoke! Cost of Google Earth Pro up through January 19, 2015: $400... per year!

Cost of Google Earth Pro as of January 20, no end in sight: free!

Imagine the poor guy who just paid up for a year's subscription right before it went free! 8-0!

Giving Google false registration data

I don't blame anybody who gives false registration data other than their e-mail address to Google, but I doubt it will work. Google gets its tentacles into everything and probably already knows all your phone numbers, addresses, credit card and other account numbers, family SSNs, birthdays, blood types, medical history, the websites you visit... you name it, they already got it.

Absolutely! Google Earth collects information about all it's Users. It installs Services that continue to run on your p.c. even after you uninstall it. I'll bet if you actually read the EULA when you installed it, it mentions data mining somewhere in there!

Thanks

Thanks for the heads-up, I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Google philosophy

Interesting read. I think we can agree that they still believe at least a couple of principles to be true.

Number 7 - "There’s always more information out there"
Number 8 - "The need for information crosses all borders".

Not so sure about "Don't be evil"?

Sure

There are many websites that have google services linked to their websites. Even if you do not visit google sites, google cookies still show up on your computer. It matters not if you do not allow third party cookies on your computer.

Worked like a...

charm for me!

I filled out the form, and got the licence key via email.

So cool.

Thanks chewbacca! You are an animal!
