Not clear who's warranty it is though.
To the best of my knowledge there has never been a Nuvi with a Garmin warranty longer than one year. Any place offering a longer warranty is offering something other than a real Garmin one.
I'd be reading the fine print on a 5 year warranty on any portable electronic device as it doesn't sound like something that you'd normally see.
