A question about maintaining files. (getting location info)

Need some general help.

I'm looking to update the files that I maintain and I've run into a snag. I made a file for O'Charley's Restaurants from a very good state by state listing they had on their web site. They have since changed their site to only have a Shop Locator and I can no longer get a full listing.

Any suggestions of where to look for a complete listing of something like this? There are a few other files that I have submitted where I have run into the same issue.

Not sure about "menuism.com"

I just took a look at the menuism site mentioned above. I maintain files for a couple of Chicago-style pizza restaurants and wondered what they showed for Uno's Chicago Grill. They list one in Phoenix, which opened in 2003, but closed its doors years ago.

I don't think you can count on any site for accurate, current information other than the restaurant itself.

Not knowing about where the BBQ sites were I was wondering how accurate the site was. Glad you check it.

Due to the large member base here at the Factory, we are all in a position to help the creators of these files and improve their accuracy. If you see an error or omission, simply notify the file owner. It helps us all eventually.

I ran into the same issue on menuism.com when I was making the McAlister's Deli file. They have almost 100 less locations then the corporate site.

That Sucks

I just went to the O'Charley's website and saw what they did. shock

Third party websites are just not going to be as accurate or current, in my experience.

That makes it really tough.
