I'm planning a trip to Florida and the Atlanta HOV lanes, are a real plus.
There are 2 or 3 locations where the HOV Lanes leave the main part of I-75 and then reconnect a little farther along. I tried to create a POI file that would force my NUVI 2555 LMT to force the navigation onto these divergences.
I have 2015-3 loaded.
I went to full zoom in Basecamp and located the divergences and put a waypoint in the center of these. I then exported these to a gpx file, opened in EPE and went to full satellite zoom to fine tune the location.
When I tested the result by plotting the route in Basecamp, it did as it follow the divergences, but it also took me off on some ramps just past these and looped back around, through city streets and back onto the main part of I-75.
I thought this might be a Basecamp glitch, but I tested the route, on my GPS, in simulate mode, using Trip Planner on my GPS. The result was the same.
If I simply have the GPS route me directly through Atlanta, it routes fine. I'm sure there is some disconnect of the connection points.
I can always simply ignore it when the GPS tells me to exit the highway. It will recalculate and simply keep going, but that's annoying.
Has anyone here tried this, and actually had driving success?
Also, if anyone would like the file, I could email it to you. I'm hesitant to post it, due to these problems.

I would be interested in seeing your Atlanta HOV route file. We often go to Florida from Iowa sometime during the winter, and I always dread that section of I75 through Atlanta. So anything that can improve that part of the route is good news to me.

I do not know how to load two files into one the posting or how to make it open source. It's a great idea and I have contacted POI Factory to ask for assistance to do so.

Files for both directions have now been posted. If anyone has knowledge of the HOV Lanes, please feel free to let me know what can be done to improve these.

The hov lane project were for the entire Ewe.S.Eh. instead of just for Atlanta
