I just got a Garmin Street Pilot c530 and its awsome but I am having trouble with the POI loader...It works fine to load one file but when i try to uplaod new stuff after, it erases/overwrites whatever was there already. How can I stop it from doing this? Thanks,

Yes, That's the way it works...whenever you upload POIs it'll overwrite what's already on the GPS. So upload all your POIs together...copy all the POI files to a folder on your computer and point Garmin's POI loader to that folder. It'll upload each POI file in your folder.

I find it convenient to keep two folders on my PC for this purpose. One has all of the POIs I want to keep on my GPSr (actually contains two folders, one for internal and the other for loading on my SD card), and the other with POIs I am interested in for traveling but do not want to keep on my GPSr.
I always keep the first folder current, with updates and new files. On a weekly basis I reload the first folder to my GPSr, replacing the existing files. When I prepare a trip to a distant location, I move some of the files from the second folder into the first.
