NOTE: This file has not been updated with the school streets the city added in late 2014. It will be removed once Chickenhawk's file (see link below) has been thoroughly tested.

When installing this file set a 300 meter proximity alert to hear an alarm when the GPS approaches 30 km/h speed zones near Winnipeg, Manitoba, schools.

This file has been test driven past about 20 of the 171 schools included here. Alarms do not match the zones exactly but with a 300 meter proximity setting usually alert too soon instead of too late.

The file is not perfect (90%?). Also, the official document from the city differs from what was actually put in place.

Please send feedback if a signed street is missing. The POI file is intended to fill the gap until Chickenhawk finishes a much more accurate POI file.
