how to use .csv file

I am a Nuvi 350 user and would like to add waypoints to the base map so the GPS can route to them. I'm an absolute newbie so please excuse my naive question:

I was able to download the Gettysburg .csv file onto the GPS unit, but the waypoints do not superimpose onto the map. Is that a problem and what do I need to do next?

Any tips will be most appreciated!

Zoom and map detail

You need to zoom in to see the POIs. Also, it is a good idea to have the map detail set high.

Also, be sure you have used POI Loader to load them onto your GPSr and that you haven't simply copied the CSV file to the unit.

So now I can see both the location that came with the base map _and_ the .csv label. Learn something new everyday smile Thank you!
