Not many tourists in Vegas this weekend

Amazingly it seemed like fewer than usual for the holiday weekend. Most places were not crowded like Valentines Day or Easter Weekend. I did not hear the occupancy figures, but from on eyeball perspective there were parking spaces and empty machines at the casinos.

Thanks to all the men and women who have served in our Armed Forces and have given all.

Have a great week, everyone. Sure hope anyone on the site that was in or near the Reading, PA area last Thursday afternoon, didn't get hurt by the freakish hailstorm that struck the area. We suffered some small dings just south of Pottsville, PA, but the folks near the intersection of 222/183 got larger than golf ball size hail. Lots of property damage. We just missed the bad stuff.

When I was 16 and the legal age to go to a bar was 21, the years would not go by.
Now that I have been retired for 13 years, a year is like a month!
