Garmin on My Mind
Everywhere I go i take my Garmin. It is a great device to have. I would be lost without it. It gives me peace when I go somewhere, even around the area I live in.

Was in Florida for 4 months and am just starting to get caught up now.

Something to brag about
Final week before we head out on a 50 day trip - will travel about 11,000 miles but fortunately about 60% will be on Amtrak. S.O. does not fly !
3 graduations to attend ! Will have trusty 2595 attached to the train window to make sure we're going the right way and not exceeding the speed limit or running red lights !
Oh did I mention that that one of my granddaughters is graduating magna cum laude with a BS in Elementary Education and a BA in Psychology !
Pardon my bragging ! She must take after the other side of the family !

2 to 4 inches of overnight
2 to 4 inches of overnight rain with flooding was forecast for the north metro Atlanta area. We need the rain. We got a lot of wind, based on the broken twigs and leaves on the ground, but I measured barely 1/4" of rain this morning. Oh well, I'm lucky the tornadoes skipped me.
