Alphabetizing lists

I wish there was a way of alphabetizing the lists. Like restaurants in alphabetical order or fuel stations in alphabetical order. I would like to be able to just look for the ones we eat at .....

There might be several ways to do this, but they would depend on exactly what you are wanting to do.

What have you tried so far that has not given you the results you wanted?

So, please give us a scenario of usage. For example:

"I am out of town on a trip and I want to be able to find ... so I want to be able to look in my GPS and have it ..."

limitation of POI Factory Platform

I raised this issue via the "Contact Us" tab, back in December. This is the response that I got from Jonathan.

"Hi --

I agree, this would be a very helpful feature.

Right now, the categories display according to the order files were added. An option to sort by name and perhaps also by popularity would be very nice.

The site is running on a version of the web platform that's somewhat dated, but I'm working on moving the site to a newer version that has these features.

Are you referring to your GPS or "lists" on this site?

If it is on this site, then you must be asking for Alphabetic by Category, because there is already an Alphabetical list at
http://www.poi-factory.com/poifiles/alpha

You have to scroll down on the POI files page to find it. I would like to see it at the top of the page.
